Rosenthal - The Malibu Estate
2003 Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage Information: The 2003 harvest season
started with a very cool and overcast spring, resulting
a very light berry set (12% of normal). A warm summer
allowed concentration of fruit flavors, and added to the
deep color, complexity, and balance. Cool nights kept
the acids in perfect balance with the fruit character.
An outstanding but very limited release, with best
grapes going into this one wine.

Rosenthal - The Malibu Estate
2007 Chardonnay
Winemaker
Notes: 2007
was a cool year, with harvest two weeks later than
usual. We picked the fruit based on our desired flavor
profiles and delivered some very flavorful, bright, and
floral Chardonnay. The cool ripening period provided
slow even ripening and optimal flavor maturity.($25/btl)

Rosenthal - The Malibu Estate
2004 Meritage
Winemaker
Notes: Malibu Meritage! This is our third
release of our Meritage (by definition, a blend of two or
more of the classic Bordeaux grapes). Cabernet Franc from
our top vine-yard blocks adds a rich, spicy complexity to
this wine, balanced with se-lect percentages from our blocks
of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The first
two releases were great successes, and we feel this is a
very worthy heir.
